What a weekend!
What a weekend! First we celebrated Josh's Birthday in American Fork Canyon. The kids really wanted to go camping so that is what we did for his birthday! The kids had a blast! The next day I surprised Josh and we went to Sundance. We had a nice dinner, listened to the Utah Symphony and stayed overnight in a cabin. The next day we drove to Park City and stayed in a hotel with my brother and his family. My sister and her family were already staying up there so we were able to spend time with them too. The best part about this weekend was my sister had her first baby. I was able to be there with her when she had her baby. Welcome baby Elijah!

Busy summer so far.....
We have had such a busy summer so far! Last week Pleasant Grove had Strawberry Days. Our kids enjoyed the parade, strawberries and cream, and the carnival. (They talked us into that one.)Claire learned how to climb out of her crib this month so now she is our little book worm. She loves to sleep with her books.

Luke's DC Class Trip

Luke went on a ten day tour back east. He went with some of the kids from his school who are going into eighth grade. He had so much fun! He was able to go to Washington DC, Willamsburg, VA, Jamestown, Fort McHenry, and other great places. We missed him so much and we are really glad he is back! We are also impressed that he took pictures. These are just a few from his trip. Enjoy!Tuesday, June 8, 2010
Praying Mantis
They're here! They have finally hatched. At first we were all excited when we found the cocoons because we thought they were butterfly cocoons. We went on line and discovered that they were praying mantis. We were a little disappointed but it was worth the wait because there are a lot of them. The girls thought we could keep them as pets but we thought they would be better in our yard. It will be fun to see them a little bigger. (If you like bugs)Wednesday, June 2, 2010

We had a fun Memorial Day with family. We started out in the morning hiking to Stewart Falls with my brother, sister and their families. This has been a tradition for our family for many years! After our hike we enjoyed a BBQ with the Lytle family. We couldn't have asked for better weather! It was a perfect day!
