Halloween Costume Exchange

This morning my friend and I hosted a Halloween costume exchange for our neighbors. It was a huge success!! A lot of costumes were brought to the park to exchange. I was happy to borrow two witch costumes and a vampire dress. It's so much better to have my friends borrow some of my cute costumes that my kids used to wear instead of sitting in boxes year after year! We are going to make this a tradition every year!

This morning I also noticed a hot air balloon outside my kitchen window. I love hot air balloons! By the time I grabbed my camera I wasn't able to get a good shot but here it is anyways.

Soccer Tournament

Emma had a soccer tournament on Saturday. It was a very exciting game! Emma's team scored a point and then the other team tied the game 1-1. Because of the tie each team had five players take turns scoring a goal. Emma was chosen as one of the five and made a goal. Our team didn't score enough so we ended up with second place. Emma was disappointed but thrilled to get a trophy for finishing in second in the tournament. Emma had a great season with the same coach she's had for the last three years.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a nice Labor Day Weekend with family! We had a fun time at the Lytles for a BBQ on Saturday(Go BYU) and on Monday we went to a kid friendly lake in Daybreak(new discovery) with the McDaniels and Roberts. Our kids biggest highlight of the weekend was spending time with their cousins! Great family...great food....great times.....Go BYU!
