It's a Beautiful Day!

Today was a beautiful day! It was only in the mid 50's
but the sun was out and it seemed like everyone was outside
playing. I took Claire to the park and she loved the swing and
the slide! What a great day!

I love being outside!

Malissa played her violin in music class today.
She did a great job!

Claire was so exhausted that she fell asleep during
dinner. I thought it was cute that she had her cup in
her mouth while she was sleeping.

Clay Dough Sculptures

For family night activity tonight, Luke, Emma,
and Malissa made sculptures out of clay dough.
They asked their dad to pick his favorite one. Josh
gave each of them a winning title which made all of
them happy! It was a fun activity!
Clay Dough

2 C Flour
4 tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 C salt
2 C water
4 tsp. oil

Combine all the ingredients in a sauce pan over medium heat. Stir constantly until it forms a ball.
It will be lumpy. Turn out on a counter and knead until smooth. Cool. Store in a zip-lock bag.

Clap for Daddy

Lately when Claire sees Josh she
starts clapping. It's so cute how
excited she gets when she sees him.
It makes Josh feel good and I love to see
how much she adores him!

Honest Malissa

Yesterday Malissa got the special plate for being honest.
She saw that her teacher had given her 100% on her test
when in fact she had spelled a word wrong. Her teacher
corrected her mistake and gave Malissa a sticker. I thought
Malissa deserved the special plate that night!

Winter Family Reunion

Roberts Family picture taken at the reunion.
We had a great time getting together with my parents
and brothers and sisters! We stayed at Ashley's parents house
in Bountiful Utah. Even though some of us were sick we
still had fun sledding, playing games, watching movies and
playing with cousins. Good times!

Abraham Lincoln's 200th Birthday

Last summer we had the opportunity
to go to DC and see the Lincoln Memorial.
We feel so blessed to have had such a
great president and to remember the
great man that he was! We are also truly
blessed to live in a free country!

My mom was staying with us this week so she
got to be here today to celebrate with us.
Happy 200th Birthday Abraham Lincoln!

Senior Spelling Bee

Luke was in the school spelling bee today. He
said he was really nervous but he did his best
and we were happy for him!

Luke waiting for the spelling bee
to start. The anticipation!

Good job Luke!

At last teeth!

Claire finally has two teeth on the bottom
and two more teeth on the top just barely
coming in. Hopefully this means Claire will
finally sleep through the night!
