Flashback Friday

Since this is Luke and Emma's last Shakespeare week at the school I thought I would share a few pictures of them in their costumes when they were little. Luke's grade is putting on "The Merchant of Venice" Luke did not want to be an actor in the play so he was chosen to be in charge of the light board. He has really enjoyed being in charge and is especially happy that he doesn't have to be on stage. Emma has really loved dressing up evey year and comes up with the most creative hair dos. I'm so glad we have had so many great memories of Shakespeare week!

Field Trip Friday

On Friday I was a chaperon for Emma's field trip. We went to temple square in Salt Lake City. The sixth grade classes recited "The Living Christ" in front of the Christus. I had to take a picture of this lady with Emma and her friends because it was cute how she wanted to be in the picture. I think she was fascinated by the uniforms and blonde hair. Claire came along too and was so good. We saw many beautiful flowers, the Brigham Young House, the Church History Museum and ate pie at the Lion House. It was a really fun day!

On Saturday Luke had a lacrosse game. This was one of his last games.

Miracle Monday

We had a pretty full weekend. On Friday we had our carpets cleaned. So we surprised the kids and stayed in a hotel at Thanksgiving Point. I took Claire and Malissa to the Thanksgiving Point farm Friday afternoon and had a great time. On Saturday we watched Emma play soccer and Luke play lacrosse. We were happy that the weather was finally nice enough for us to watch. Over the weekend we were anticipating Josh's doctor appointment on Monday worried that he might need surgery. This morning we received the good news. The bone in his foot miraculously moved back into place. We feel so blessed that Josh's foot has healed well. He is also very excited to ride his mountain bike in two weeks. Thanks for everyones support!

Spring weather?

This weekend we were surprised to wake up to beautiful snow on the ground. By Sunday, Claire and her cousins were having a great time jumping on the trampoline. Are we having spring weather or winter? It's hard to say these days. I choose spring!
