First Day of School

Today Luke, Emma, and Malissa started school. They were really excited to go! Luke was especially excited to have his very own locker this year and to be in middle school! Emma and Malissa have teachers that we've had with Luke so they were excited to already know their teachers. While they were away at school I couldn't believe how quiet it was at home; it felt really weird! I was able to get a few things done at home and by the time the kitchen was clean it was time to pick up the kids. I got good reports from all of them! Great day!

New Shoes

These are a couple of shoes Luke custom designed for his sisters. He's be earning a little bit of money this summer designing a few hats and shoes for friends and family. It's been a lot of fun for him! He's found something he really enjoys doing.

Cakes, Cousins, Friends

Malissa and Emma went to a fun cake class this week and made gum ball cakes. They had so much fun decorating them and seeing their good friends. Thanks to the Christensen's for the great class!
Emma and Malissa's cousin Rachel spent the night on Friday. Great hair day girls!

While Rachel and Emma were painting their toe nails Malissa had her friend over to watch I Love Lucy reruns. They thought it would be fun to have a tent set up and make smores over our stove top. Very creative!

Good Friends

We got together with some of our good friends from Saratoga Springs. Only half the group was there but it was still fun to see everyone and their kids. All of us moved to Saratoga at the same time when our kids were young and most of us have moved from that area so it is a real treat to get together! Good times!
