Black and White Wednesday

I finished a project that I was doing for Halloween. I was grateful that my mom helped me cut out the fabric. (not the easiest shape to recover)  All I had to do was modge podge the fabric on and hot glue the top and bottom. It only took about forty five minutes to finish. I think it looks a lot better!

While I was reovering the lamp shades, Claire was outside playing with play dough. She loves being outside!

Black and White Wednesday

New York City Temple

Look who got their nails painted!

Claire was so excited after her nails were painted last night! What a good Daddy!

Andrea Bocelli in Central Park

Here are a few pictures that were sent to us from the concert. We were surprised to see our picture!

 Andrea Bocelli with Celine Dion

All the performers from the concert.

In August, Josh surprised me by getting tickets to see Andrea Bocelli perform in Central Park. I was so excited! I thought the day would never come. Last week Josh and I flew to New York to see the concert. Josh and I thought it was going to be great but it was even better than we thought! Even though we had to stand in line for two hours, in the rain, waiting to get into the concert, it was well worth the wait! We were right in front. We also got to hear Celine Dion, Tony Bennett, and a few other performers perform with Andrea Bocelli. They were unbelievable! Another highlight of our trip was visiting Josh's brother Zach, his wife Tracy, and their kids! It was so much fun to see them! We wish we had more time with them! We will never forget the beautiful music, beautiful sites and wonderful time we had!

Chicken in the photo shoot

I was taking a few pictures of the girls outside the other day. I guess one of chickens wanted her picture taken too. I had to take a quick shot because it was a funny moment!

Never Forget!

Where were you on September 11th 2001?

Never forget

Where we were

What we were doing

What we were watching on tv

May we never forget 9/11

God Bless America!

Pioneer Activity at the park

We went to a Pioneer activity at our park last night. Luke and Emma were involved in helping with the games with many of the youth from our church.  Luke and his friends helped pull the hand carts around the park.

Emma and her friend played a stick pull game. They had a lot of fun!

Malissa and Claire had fun riding in the hand cart!

Claire didn't know that she couldn't use her hands in this game.

Raspberry Picking

Josh and I took the kids on Saturday to the McBride Briar Patch in Mapleton to pick raspberries. We had a lot of fun! The raspberries were delicious and there were so many bushes to pick from. The farm provided buckets and shoelaces to tie around our waists to hold the buckets. Even Claire participated. We will definitely go back and pick next year!
