They're here! They have finally hatched. At first we were all excited when we found the cocoons because we thought they were butterfly cocoons. We went on line and discovered that they were praying mantis. We were a little disappointed but it was worth the wait because there are a lot of them. The girls thought we could keep them as pets but we thought they would be better in our yard. It will be fun to see them a little bigger. (If you like bugs)Tuesday, June 8, 2010

That is so cool! My kids would love that, too! Once in Brazil I saw a praying Manthis bigger than my hand. :)
