Today was the first day of School. Some were more thrilled about it than others. Claire was very sad today. She wanted me to hold her as soon as we dropped off the kids! The day went by fast though because I helped out in the lunchroom. Claire was very happy to sit with her siblings. (each taking a turn at different lunch times) It felt very strange to have a quiet home. It will take a few days to get used to that. The kids all liked their teachers, met a few friends and already had homework on the first day. Back to reality..... Bye Bye Summer!
The girls wanted to be waitresses for dinner yesterday. I remember doing the same thing with my sister. The menu, the "French" accent, and the candles. It brought back a lot of fun memories.

I remember doing that too! I need to get my kids to get in on the fun.
And poor Claire, we are having similar difficulties here. So lonely.
