It has been a week since we took Claire's binkie away for good. It was a very sad week because she loved having the binkie for bedtime. She cried and cried but every night she is crying less. Our other children weaned themselves at twelve months but Claire has really attached herself to the binkie. On one of the days last week Claire found a binkie and she had the most guilty look on her face when I looked over to see her holding it to her mouth. It was pretty funny! Bye Bye Binkie!Monday, October 12, 2009

Oh, that is so hard! Ainsley was the same age when we starting weaning her. It's for the best, though! Keep strong!
Bummer! We had to snip the ends off for our kids and then they didn't want them anymore. She does look cute with it in her mouth though!
She is getting too old. Poor Claire. No more binkie!
Cute little Claire - she is growing up too fast!
Too cute! Alyssa love her binky as well, and we had to put it in the garbage right before the garbage man came to make it "final!" We waved to mr. garbage man and said goodbye binky!
