Malissa asked me this morning why we celebrate
St. Patricks Day? I told her I was going to explain
the history behind it tonight but here are five excuses
I came up with.
1. We love Lucky Charms!
2. It's an excuse to celebrate another holiday
3. We get to wear green
4. My kids like to pinch whoever is not wearing green
5. My Dad went on a mission to Ireland.

Have a fun day! Avery was excited when he got to school and found that the Leprechauns had made a big mess of his classroom! Green handprints and all! I have my corned beef in the crock pot! I will have to remember the Lucky Charms next year!
Those are great reasons to celebrate. I love the Lucky Charms idea. We'll have to do that next year!
