Everyday our neighbors let their pigeons out to fly around our neighborhood. They are beautiful birds and we enjoy watching them everyday. I added the second picture because I wanted to show the bird that we named. There is always one bird that flies in the back. We named the bird Bobby so when we see the birds flying, the kids will yell out, Go Bobby Go! It's cute.
For the month of February, Emma along with her whole sixth grade class were given a challenge of no media for a month. They were only allowed to watch two movies the whole month. Emma was very strict with us by making sure we didn't play music in the car (unless it was classical) and reminding us that she couldn't play wii or watch tv. I was very impressed that Emma really stuck to the challenge and never gave up. We celebrated tonight by surprising her with pizza, soda and lots of treats. Congratulations to Emma!
This particular trip to the zoo was a lot of fun! The giraffes were so interactive and got really close to the kids. It makes me want to go to the zoo again. This was taken in February 2006.
Feet! I never take pictures of their shoes and since most of them own a pair of black shoes I thought it would be fun to take this shot. Very painless for the kids since they don't have to smile.
Our cat Eve used to sit outside our door and watch us. Claire loved our cat and used to bang on the door with her hands. Eve was such a good cat and didn't seem to mind having a baby around. We miss our cat!
