You Decide 2010!

Last night we nominated our "candidates" for our dinner. With the election coming up I thought it would be fun to repeat what we did two years ago and do a" You Decide Election Dinner."
On the morning of the election, we each get a ballot and everyone votes. (For Claire, I will line up packages and she will point.) I will then count the votes and wait to announce the winners at dinner time. It will be fun to see their reactions and it will probably be a pretty mixed up dinner.

Happy Halloween!

This is not the best picture of them because we did the picture too late! Malissa was a gypsy. Claire was Minnie Mouse and Emma was an 80's girl. (Josh did her bangs and they turned out great but you can't tell in the picture). Luke was hired to stand like a statue in front of our neighbor's house to scare people. (Don't worry he didn't scare little kids) Pretty scary!

I had to show a picture of Claire's cute high heeled shoes. Thanks Ashley!
We carved pumpkins on Wednesday night. Claire was teasing us by pretending to put the spoon in her mouth that was covered in pumpkin. She always makes us laugh!
Luke is always thinking of something creative. This year Luke carved Sponge Bob out of his pumpkin.

Spelling Bee and more.....

Malissa participated in the Junior Spelling Bee today. She did great! She said she was a little nervous but I think I was more nervous then her. This is a look into Josh's latest project. He is building a chicken coop. Yes we are going to have five chickens. The chicks are coming next week. Stay tuned.

Beautiful temple in the autumn.

Moab

During the kids fall break Josh and Luke went to Moab to go mountain biking. They had a great time and the weather was perfect. I just can't believe how old Luke looks in these pictures.

Happy Birthday Malissa!

Happy Birthday Malissa! Malissa is a very caring person! She is a so good with her little sister and she is always thinking about other people. You can always find her in a corner reading and she has a few stories that she has written. We love her smile and we are so happy to have her in our family! We love you Malissa!

Dollhouse Festival

I took Emma, Malissa and Claire to a Dollhouse Festival this weekend. We had a great time looking at all the dollhouses. Emma and Malissa are standing next to their favorite house. Malissa and Claire also had fun having their faces painted by a very talented lady! Last week my girls came up with an idea to make dresses out of tissue paper for their Liv dolls. I thought it was pretty creative and was wishing that I had thought of that idea when I was young.

Fall Sports

I got a shot of Luke scoring. What a great game for him!
Emma finished soccer this week while Luke continues Lacrosse. We saw some real improvements with each of our kids this season and we have enjoyed watching their teams play in great weather!
