Thanksgiving Break

Over Thanksgiving Break we drove to California to spend our vacation with family. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, cousins, Emma's 14th birthday, Grandparents and the beach. We are so grateful for family! We feel so blessed to be able to live close to our families!

Our new rabbit named Lilly

Last Saturday Josh and I brought home a nine week old rabbit. Claire named her Lilly. As you can see Lilly is very loved! She is held a lot and likes to hop around our living room. The girls wanted me to take their picture with their new rabbit.

Moab, Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon

Over our fall break we went to three places. Moab, Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon. The kids enjoyed climbing on the rocks, hiking and being outdoors! We look forward to going again some day!

Claire went to our neighbors house for play group and had a great time in her sunflower garden.

California vacation

We just got back from a fun vacation in California. Emma and Malissa love going to the beach with their cousins!

Claire had an accident while we were in California and had to get two stitches on her foot. She didn't seem bothered  by her foot while we were at the beach! She was just so happy to be playing in the sand with her buckets.

Malissa was so happy to be able to do the rings for the first time.

My Dad always enjoys taking the kids to the beach in Santa Monica!

My parents introduced us to a fun game called pickle ball. We had a great time!

On our last day we took the kids to the Getty Center.

Lytle reunion

We had a really fun Lytle reunion this past week. It was so much fun to see cousins, nephews, nieces, brothers,  sisters-in- laws and Grandparents all at the same time. We haven't had a reunion for a long time! Some of the highlights of our time together was swimming, jumping on the trampoline, Park City, Slip in slide, hiking Bridal Veil Falls, Salt Lake City, Alpine slide, Sundance, snow cones, Seth and Alli's new baby, and just being together! Thanks Rich and Sue for putting together this wonderful reunion! We are looking forward to our next family reunion.

Our summer so far....

We've had a pretty busy summer so far! Claire took a dance class for the first time from two neighborhood girls. She LOVED it!

Luke earned money by having a Lego camp at our house twice a week for three weeks (His third year and last year)

Emma earned money by having a craft/cooking class at our house twice a week for three weeks on the other days Luke didn't have his Lego camp. Lets just say we had a pretty busy house full of kids for the first three weeks of June!!!

Claire took swimming lessons for two weeks at our neighbors house. She had a tough time the first week but then learned how to swim the second week. She even jumped off the diving board.

We like to feed the ducks at our man made pond. Another activity that the kids look forward to.
Overall our summer has been fun! We look forward to spending time with family this summer!
